SHERWOOD CO-OP TO OPEN NEW REGINA GROCERY STORE IN DREAM’S COMMUNITY OF HARBOUR LANDING

Grocery retailer set to become anchor tenant in The Runway retail centre

REGINA – August 20, 2018 – Sherwood Co-operative Association Limited (Sherwood Co-op), a locally-owned and operated retail co-operative, and Dream Centres (Dream) are partnering to bring Sherwood Co-op Food Store to Dream’s community of Harbour Landing. The grocery retailer will serve as the anchor tenant to The Runway, Dream’s commercial and retail centre located at the corner of Parliament Avenue and Lewvan Drive in Harbour Landing. Already under construction, Sherwood Co-op is anticipated to open its doors to the community in the summer of 2019.

With a commitment to building better communities, Dream believes in investing in the communities where its residents live, work and play. The Runway will provide convenient access to a diverse array of retail offerings, including shops, services and amenities, all of which are focused on enhancing the quality of life for residents and the nearby community. In addition to Sherwood Co-op, The Runway will be home to a number of local and national retailers, restaurants and services. Dedicated to providing shoppers with fresh, quality products and exceptional customer service, Sherwood Co-op is a welcome addition to Harbour Landing.

“Dream is excited to embark on a new partnership with Sherwood Co-op, a company that is known for its local roots and long-standing reputation in the city,” said Kyle Chatterson, Senior Leasing Manager, Dream Commercial. “It is a privilege to work alongside a company that shares our community-first approach to business and believes in fostering the growth of our local economy. Sherwood Co-op’s presence in Harbour Landing is a testament to Regina’s continued retail growth, and we are confident this addition will serve residents for years to come.”

Sherwood Co-op is currently ranked as one of Saskatchewan’s Top 100 Companies and is one of the largest retail businesses in Regina. The Harbour Landing location will be an excellent addition to the company’s current offering, which includes Food Stores, a Home and Building Centre, as well as Convenience Stores/Gas Bars/Car Washes throughout the city of Regina.
